Fred McKinley Ramsey, 66, of White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, passed away Thursday, July 6, 2017 from a medical emergency.

Born May 13, 1951 at Glace, Fred was the son of the late Henry Jalmer and Norine McDowell Ramsey.

Fred was a retired engineer.

Besides his parents, Fred was preceded in death by sister, Wanda Ramsey and a brother, Roger Ramsey.

Surviving include daughter, Christy (Jason) Worley of Annapolis MD; sons, Travis Ramsey of Manassas, VA and Brian (Amber) Ramsey of Matthews, NC; grandchildren, Tyler Worley, Justin Worley, Bryson Ramsey and Grayson Ramsey; sisters, Wilma Flack of White Sulphur Springs, and Mary (Sam) Childers of White Sulphur Springs; brothers, Darrell (Melba) Ramsey of White Sulphur Springs, Steve (Vernie) Ramsey of Caldwell; David (Jane) Ramsey of Covington, VA and Stozy (Violet) Ramsey of White Sulphur Springs; numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be 12:00 noon on Monday, July 10, 2017 at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Pastor Lowell O'Dell officiating. Burial will follow at the Dowdy Cemetery at Glace.

Calling hours will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
