Homemaker Was West Virginia Native, Volunteer At Sharon Elementary School

Peggy Ann Phillips Ingram, age 77, of 1810 N. Oakwood Drive, Clifton Forge, Virginia, died Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at LewisGale Hospital – Alleghany, Low Moor.

She was born March 21, 1940 in Ronceverte, West Virginia, to the late John Garland Phillips and Dorothy Dowdy Phillips.

She was a homemaker throughout her life.

She was a former member of the Cliftondale Country Club, enjoyed bowling with the Tuesday Morning Ladies, and volunteered at Sharon Elementary School.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Randy Ingram.

She is survived by her husband of fifty-eight years, Maynard Randolph Ingram and two daughters, Vickie Terry and husband, Roger and Pamela Balliett and husband, Paul, all of Clifton Forge; three sisters, Emma Gabbert of Lewisburg, Karen Lynn Phillips of Fairlea, and Helen Murphy of Lewisburg; two brothers, John Garland Phillips, Jr. and wife, Karen of Lewisburg, and James Phillips of Lewisburg; seven grandchildren, April, Lisa, David, Alicia, Tabitha, Michael, and Randy, Jr.; fourteen greatgrandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will held on Saturday, July 15, 2017at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, with Reverend W. Pembroke Hall officiating. Interment will follow in Sharon Baptist Cemetery, Clifton Forge.

The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Nicely Funeral Home.
