Carol Jean Bragg, 76, of White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, passed away on July 16, 2017.

She was born on January 30, 1941 at Crickmer, the daughter of the late Basil Akens and Beatrice Bessie Fox Walker.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Genieva and brothers, Harold and Denver Walker.

Carol was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker.

Surviving are a daughter, Sheila Butt and George of Norfolk, VA; sons, Michael Walker, Phillip Bragg and Emmie of Florida; five sisters, Norma, Brenda, Juanita, Elizabeth and Peggy; three grandchildren, Cory Turner Demmie Bragg and Chloe Bragg.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
