Florida Native Dies At Age 59
Mihala Polk Raleigh, age 59, of 2024 S. Kadel Ave. died Friday, July 21, 2017, at her residence.
She born July 18, 1958, in Gainesville Florida to the late Edgar and Pauline Polk.
Surviving are her fiance, Albert Carpenter of Covington; two sons, Richard Raleigh of Covington and Mason Raleigh and his fiance, Brandy Richmond of Covington; a step son, J. J. Childress, of Covington and a grandson, Bentley Raleigh of Covington.
In keeping with her wishes her body has been cremated.
A celebration of her life will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at her residence, 2024 S. Kadel Ave., Covington, Virginia.
Arrangements are entrusted to Arritt Funeral Home.
