Grassy Meadows Gospel Lighthouse Member Dies At Age 82

Eva S. Bryant, 82, of Blue Sulphur Springs, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at her home after following a short illness.

Mrs. Bryant was born on March 18, 1935, the daughter of the late Cecil and Mary Esteline Nalley Huggins.

She was a lifetime member of the Grassy Meadows Gospel Lighthouse.

She devoted her entire life to serving the Lord and never failed a testimony to say, "Pray, I always live in the beauty of holiness". She did live that beautiful holiness life that everyone who knew her will always remember.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Henry Huggins; sisters, Georgie Toner, Elsie Dight, Lola Allen, Rosie Bennett; a son, Maxie Don Bryant, Jr., and her loving husband of 39 years, Maxie Don Bryant.

Survivors include her children, Carl "Keith" Bryant of Rupert, Deborah Fox and husband, Charles of Alta, Jennifer King and husband, Leonard of Blue Sulphur, Victoria Ehster of Blue Sulphur; special daughter in law, Doris Bryant of Smoot; special son in law, Scott Ehster of Lewisburg; grandchildren, James and Pamela LeGrand, Jay and Tiffany Blair, Andrew and Cassie Bailes, Sheena Pendley, Shawn and Karista Bryant, Luke Bryant, Brandon and Emily Burgess, Justin Fox, Priscilla Fox, Taylor Bryant, Russell Bryant, Ashley Bryant and Shawna Mullins and baby, Addalynne; great grandchildren, Brooke, Jayden, Abriella, Paislee, Easton, Cooper, Liam, Kingston and two on the way; Eva's best friend, Delta Hinkle, and many close nieces, nephews, friends and church family.

Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Grassy Meadows Gospel Lighthouse with Pastor William "Butch" LeGrand officiating. Burial will follow at the McElhenney Cemetery, Grassy Meadows.

Friends may call Saturday evening at the Lighthouse from 6-9 p.m.

The Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
