Annabelle Marie (Toots) Drepperd, 75, of Merryfield Home, 111 Horse Mountain View, Covington, Virginia, died early Monday, August 21, 2017 at her residence.

She was born August 2, 1942 in Pocahontas County, WV, a daughter of the late Lake and Olive Gaylor Drepperd.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Drepperd and also a niece, Wendy Persinger.

"Toots" was active in the Alleghany Highlands Special Olympics. She was a volunteer from Merryfield at Mountain Regional Hospice and the Senior Citizens Group. She participated with The Starz Productions.

Surviving are her three sisters, Thelma Falls; Nancy Persinger and her husband, Norman and Betty Munsey and her husband, Tony, all of Covington; three nephews, Nelson Falls, Jeff Falls and Todd Persinger; two nieces, Erica Puckett and Amanda Taylor and a number of great nieces and nephews.

The Memorial service will be held Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Gilliland officiating.

The family will receive their friends one hour prior to service time at the Arritt Funeral Home on Saturday.
