Robert Lee (Bobby) Nicely, age 59, of 110 Lafayette Street, Clifton Forge, Virginia, died Friday, September 1, 2017 at his residence.

Robert was born in Staunton on June 17, 1958 to the late Charles Howard Nicely and Betty Sprouse Nicely Caldwell.

He was a 1978 graduate of Clifton Forge High School and was a former pastry chef at the K&W Restaurant.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Edward Nicely and Howard Arnold Nicely.

He is survived by his mother, Betty; a sister, Lorrie Chambers and husband, Robert; five nieces, Gabrielle Chambers, Brianna Chambers, Hannah Chambers, Alaina Nicely, and Carie Martin; five nephews, Nathaniel Chambers, Chad Nicely, Remington Nicely, Trystan Nicely, Zayden Dickson; and two best friends, Kathie McMillian-Helms and Larry Bogan.

In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 6 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Nicely Funeral Home. The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to Clifton Forge Food Pantry, P. O. Box 351 Clifton Forge, Virginia.
