Obituary for Jerry Wilson Bussard Jerry Wilson Bussard
Bath County Native Worked With Adams Construction, Virginia Visitor Center

Jerry Wilson Bussard, age 79, of 1811 Selma-Low Moor Road, Selma, Virginia, died Monday, September 18, 2017 at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem.

He was born April 20, 1939 in Bath County to the late Ralph Edison Bussard and Vettie Virginia Gutshall Bussard.

He was a retired sergeant for the Virginia National Guard and was a construction worker for Adams Construction.

He also worked for the Virginia Visitor Center on I-64.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dreama Tinsley Bussard; a daughter, Chrystal Marie Bussard Rynieke; and a brother, Toby E. Bussard.

He is survived by a daughter, Rita Kay Neff of Low Moor; a son, Jerry Wayne BUssard of Ohio; two sisters, Linda V. Perdue and husband, Carl of Winston-Salem, NC and Judy Elkins of Quinton; a brother, Larry Bussard of Lebanon; fifteen grandchildren; a number of great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, with Reverend Paul Brokaw officiating. Interment will follow in Alleghany Memorial Park, Low Moor.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service at Nicely Funeral Home.
