William Marion (Buddy) Brown, 77, of Natural Bridge Station, Virginia, passed away Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017 at his home.

Born Jan. 8, 1940, in Rockbridge County, he was a son of the late Arch and Ruth Lavender Brown.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Walter and Danny Brown; and sisters, Catherine Bryant, Jeanette Pugh, Doris Dodd and Helen Wells.

Buddy's career was spent at Halmode Apparel in Covington.

Surviving are his wife, Becky; daughter, Beth; sons, Roger and Billy; daughter, Tammy; many grandchildren; brother, Bobby Brown; great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2017 at Glasgow Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Rockbridge Area Hospice, 315 Meyers St., Lexington, VA 24450.
