Ann Hamilton Glass, 83, of Buena Vista, Virginia, formerly of Logan, W.Va., passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017.

Ann was born July 14, 1934 in Charleston, W.Va., to the late Owen A. and Virginia E. Hamilton.

Ann was a long-time member of Christ Episcopal Church in Buena Vista, where she served as parish secretary.

Ann was employed in the dental office of Drs. DeReus, Radick and King. Ann also volunteered in the Stonewall Jackson Hospital Auxiliary thrift shop and visitor's desk.

Besides her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas H. Glass III.

Ann is survived by her children, Rock White and wife, Mary of Glen Allen, Owen White and wife, Beverly of Raleigh, N.C., Aleida "Lee" White of Christiansburg, Walt White and wife, Kathi of O'Fallon, Mo., and Joe Glass and wife Jennette of Moreland Hills, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and devoted family friend, Charlotte Lomax, and the Joe Higgins and Tyree families.

A graveside service was conducted at Green Hill Cemetery Tuesday, Sept. 19, with the Rev. Robert Copenhaver officiating.
