William Eugene Bliem, 83, of Natural Bridge, Virginia, died Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017 at his home.

He was born July 17, 1934 in New Jersey, he was a son of the late Edwin Bliem and Helen Roach Bleim.

William was a former member of the Natural Bridge Fire Department.

Surviving are his wife, Margaret Bischoff Bliem; six children, Billy, Kevin, Debbie, Teri, Kimmie and Ryan; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

There will be no funeral services.

Memorial contributions may be made in loving memory of William to the charity of choice.
