Rebecca Faye Saunders, 53, of Lexington, Virginia, died Thursday, October 12, 2017 at Carilion Stonewall Jackson Hospital.

Born September 15, 1964 in Lynchburg, she was a daughter of the Rev. Walter Lewis Wilson and Dorothy Hughes Wilson.

Also surviving are her daughter, Misty Dawn Gardner; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Patricia Wells and Wanda Slagle; and one brother, Larry W. Stanley.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Lexington Pentecostal Holiness Church.
