Virginia Elaine Hill Hall, 69, of Lexington, Virginia, died Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017 at Carilion Stonewall Jackson Hospital.

She was born Jan. 12, 1948 in Alabama, a daughter of the late Thomas Edgar Hill and Wauline Goodbar Hill.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Randy Hill.

Elaine attended Lexington Baptist Church, and retired as manager of Food Lion.

She is survived by her son, Troy Dwayne Hall and his fiancee, Kimberly Marciniak Moore and her children, all of Lexington; brothers, Dennis K. Hill of Florida and Kevin B. Hill of Virginia Beach; granddaughters, Brittney Hall Campbell and Carson Elizabeth Hall; great-granddaughter, Annie Jay Campbell; daughter-in-law for many years, Gretchen Glick Hall, and special friend Jennifer Bushnell.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16 at Harrison Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Michael Saunders. Burial will follow at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
