God called Neil Patrick George, 47, of Ronceverte, West Virginia home on Monday, November 13, 2017 at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center.

Neil was born on June 10, 1970 in Beckley, WV, to the late Franklin Delano George, Sr. and Frances Alene Buchanan.

He was a member of the Ronceverte Christian Church on Gypsy Heights.

He enjoyed watching kids play at the Island Park. He was also an avid sports fan, especially the New England Patriots. He enjoyed baseball, and football too. He had a deep love for animals of all kinds.

Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his niece, Tara Camille Clark.

Survivors include his sisters, Kathy Clark and husband, Roger of Troutville, VA, Cindy Dalton of Richmond, VA, Abby Gail Williams of Phoenix, AZ, Heather Pepper and husband, David of Princeton, MS; brothers, Franklin George, Jr. of Rainelle, WV, Travis George of Murphy, NC, Alan George of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; special friend, Cherie Davis of Ronceverte, WV; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg, WV, with Pastor Rose McClung officiating. Burial will follow at Wallace Memorial Cemetery.

Friends and family may call on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg. Family asks that in lieu of flowers donations of sympathy be made to the Ronceverte City Hall (182 West Main Street, Ronceverte, WV 24970) for the kids sports teams of Ronceverte Island Park or the Greenbrier Humane Society (151 Holiday Lane, Lewisburg, WV 24901).
