Doris Arlene Clark Fitzgerald, 82, of Buena Vista, VA, died Wednesday, November 15, 2017, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

She was born November 14, 1935, in Clifton Forge, VA, the daughter of the late Raise Loving Clark and Ruby Gaylord Botkin Clark.

Doris was a lifelong homemaker, and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her children, Charlene Potter, of Buena Vista, and Jean Campbell, of North Carolina; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Eugene Clark, of Maryland; sister, Virginia Tweety, of Evington; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Clemmer Fitzgerald, and two brothers.

A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Monday, November 20, at Irish Creek Community Cemetery with the Rev. Dean Staton officiating.
