Obituary for Mary Ann Huffman Donald Mary Ann Huffman Donald
Rockbridge County Native Dies At Age 86

Mary Ann Huffman Donald, 86, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 14, 2017.

She was born Feb. 20, 1931 in Rockbridge County.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert H. Huffman and Mary Ruth Miller Huffman; brothers, Stanley, Randolph, Henry; and sisters, Mildred, Helen, and Bessie Ruth.

She was a member of Broad Creek A. R. Presbyterian Church and later in life attended Ebenezer A.R. Presbyterian Church and Grace Presbyterian Church. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. She was very special - a humble wife, mother, friend, and mother-in-law. She was always serving and thinking of others and dearly loved her family.

Surviving are her children, two sons, Steven L. Donald (Belinda) of Richmond and James K. Donald of Natural Bridge; two daughters, Jackie A. Coburn (Victor) of Lexington and Mary C. Pent (Mike) of Overland Park, Kansas; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother, David Huffman (Betty) of Lexington; sisters-in-law, Elza Thompson of Staunton, Ruby Huffman of Buena Vista and many nieces and nephews.

As per Mary Ann's wishes the burial will be private. The family received friends and family from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 17, 2017 and at their home, 569 Still House Drive, Lexington, VA. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Thru the Bible Radio Network, P. O. Box 7100, Pasadena, CA 91109-7100.
