Obituary for Paul Wayne Hinkle Paul Wayne Hinkle
WestRock Welder Was Alleghany High School Graduate

Mr. Paul Wayne Hinkle, age 52, of Covington, Virginia, died Sunday, December 17, 2017 at his residence.

He was the husband of Kathy Hamilton Hinkle.

Mr. Hinkle was born June 14, 1965 in Olney, MD, the son of Robert and Barbie Hinkle and Phyllis and Virgil Tingler.

A lifetime resident of this community, he was employed as a welder by WestRock.

Paul graduated from Alleghany High School in 1985 before going on to obtain his welding certificate. Mr. Hinkle was a member of Local 675.

Paul attended Covington Church of Christ. He loved hunting, fishing, gardening and mowing grass.

In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Hinkle is survived by three sons, Joshua Brady of Lynchburg, Travis Hinkle of Covington, and Tyler Hinkle of Covington; two daughters, Miranda Lynn Hinkle of Covington and Emily Riley of Iron Gate; two grandchildren, Isaiah Wood and Hunter Hinkle; two brothers, Robert Hinkle and Gary Hinkle; two sisters, Lisa H. Osborne of Covington and Pam H. Kincaid of Hot Springs; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 20, 2017 from the chapel of Loving Funeral Home with Ken Goodmiller officiating. Interment will follow in Lone Star Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Robert Hinkle, Gary Hinkle, Chip Diamon, Danny Andrews, Timmy Givens, Troy Humphries and Chris Hall.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. at Loving Funeral Home.
