Covington Resident Dies At Age 96
Mrs. Ruth Pence Kerns, age 96, of Covington, Virginia, died Saturday, January 6, 2018, at the Brian Center Nursing Care – Alleghany, Low Moor.
She was the wife of the late Delbert Dyle "D.D." Kerns.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 10, 2018 from the chapel of Loving Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Hollenbeck and Rev. Bill Gilliland officiating. Interment will follow in Alleghany Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday morning from 11:30 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
