Obituary for Thomas Addison (Bo) Williams Thomas Addison (Bo) Williams
Clifton Forge Resident Dies At Age 71

Thomas Addison (Bo) Williams, 71, of 212 W. Ridgeway Street in Clifton Forge, Virginia died Saturday, January 13, 2018 at his home.

Mr. Williams was born October 1, 1946 in Covington, a son of the late Thomas Norris Williams and Icie Meadows Williams Webb.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Dawn Williams, a son, Thomas A. Williams, Jr., a brother, Charles Wayne Williams, and a sister, Judy Woodie.

Bo met his wife, Judy Gallew, when they were both infants. Their families lived next door to each other and while only weeks to a month old, their mothers touched "Bo" and Judy's heads together over the fence. Unknown to their parents, they grew up to marry, have kids and grow old together.

He enjoyed hunting before sunrise and often times didn't make it home until mid-evening. He was always early enough to eat his wife's cooking, which he always enjoyed. He was famous for his homemade pound cakes for which his family and church family made regular requests. His children enjoyed Saturday morning country music, pancakes and gravy with their father.

Surviving are his wife, Judy Gallew Williams of Clifton Forge; four daughters, Linda Raffo of Lewisburg, WV; Missy Ray of Aldie, VA; Rebecca Dimaano and Alice Ramirez, both of Covington; 14 grandchildren including Dustin Addison Williams that he raised as his own; 14 great grandchildren; one brother, Allen "Squirrel" Williams, and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Mountain Regional Hospice personnel for their care of our husband, father and grandfather.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Solid Rock Ministries Church with the Rev. Pam Irvine officiating assisted by Rev. Edith Snedegar and Robert Tucker.

Interment will be made in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be his grandsons.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Arritt Funeral Home.
