Donna Marshall Mabry, 70, of Lexington, Virginia passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Born August 1, 1947, in Charlottesville, she was a daughter of the late Walter Lewis Marshall and Rose Marie Puckett Marshall.

The Marshall family moved to Lexington in 1954, where Donna attended public schools. She was active in music programs throughout Rockbridge County and Lexington. She was a soloist and the youth choir director at Manly Memorial Baptist Church for over 20 years. Donna was also the organist at Trinity United Methodist Church for over 20 years. She worked with many civic organizations in the area, especially the Lexington Community Table. Donna was a member of the Lexington Golf & Country Club for 48 years. She had a special love for animals and her garden.

Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Albert "Bert" W. Mabry; son, Jonathan W. Mabry; sister, Sandra Gail DeVito; sister-in-law, Nancy Christenson; sister-in-law, Wanda Mabry; several nieces and a nephew.

A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018 at Harrison Funeral Chapel, where Donna was an organist for 32 years. Rev. Joseph Cailles and Dr. J. Michael Wilkins will officiate at the service. Burial will follow at Stonewall Jackson Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m., Monday, Jan. 15, at Harrison Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in loving memory of Donna to the Lexington Community Table, P. O. Box 1543, Lexington, VA 24450.
