Daniel Warwick Burger Jr., 73, of Camden, S.C., died Sunday, January 14, 2018.

Mr. Burger graduated from Lexington High School and from Virginia Polytechnic Institute with a bachelor of science in history.

He worked for over 30 years for E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Company, both in the United States, where he was vice president, corporate human resources, and in Europe, where he was the president of the Europe, Middle East, Africa region.

Mr. Burger enjoyed restoring classic Mustang convertibles and listening to bluegrass music.

Surviving are two daughters, Elizabeth Baule of Oakton, and Emily Reeder of Greenville, S.C.; two sons, Daniel W. Burger III of Kiawah Island, S.C., and Andrew S. Burger of Charlotte, N.C.; seven grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Anna Womeldorf, and former wife, Anne Burger.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, January 26 at Lexington Presbyterian Church by the Rev. William Klein.
