Obituary for Rosalee Worth Rosalee Worth
Glasgow Native Was Former Burlington Industries Production Analyst

Rosalee Worth of Fayetteville, Ga., passed away on January 29, 2018.

She was a native of Glasgow and resided in Fayetteville since 1979. She was a loving wife, mother, and friend to all who knew her.

Rosalee retired in 1990 from the CPA firm of Joel Poole and Associates, where she was a specialist in business taxes and accounting. She had a diverse business background, having worked as a production analyst for Burlington Industries in Glasgow; executive assistant at Charles Dickey, Inc., a fashion design company in Dallas, Texas; and staff manager for Morrill Company in Danvers, Mass. Additionally, from 2000 until 2007, she served as chief financial officer for the Doral Company, a consulting firm based in Fayette County, Ga.

Rosalee was active for many years in the American Red Cross, having served on the South Metro Atlanta Advisory Board and was a founding member of the Atlanta Red Cross Chapter’s Tiffany Circle. She was a volunteer with Literacy Action and served on the Palmetto Dunes Regime Board at Hilton Head, S.C.

Rosalee was preceded in death by her high school sweetheart and husband of 55 years, Maurice Worth.

She is survived by her son, Michael Worth and his wife, Cheri of Athens, Ga.; sister, Catherine Rodgers of Buena Vista; numerous nieces and nephews and their families; and the family dog, Mollie.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date. The family lovingly requests no flowers, but donations may be made in memory of Rosalee to the American Red Cross, http//www.redcross.org, or Fayette Presbyterian Church, www.fayettepcusa.org.
