Mary Louise Huffman, 87, of Lexington, Virginia died Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Augusta Health.

Born September 23, 1930 in Collierstown, she was the daughter of the late John A. Hostetter and Eliza Jane Hostetter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank P. Huffman; sisters, Ruth Hunter and Ruby Hartbarger; brother, Ira Hostetter; and grandson, John Huffman.

She is survived by her twin sister, Lucille Lotts; sons, Donald (Kathy), Frank Jr. (Mary), Rodney (Barbara), and Christopher; grandchildren, Frank III (Paige), Rodney (Bahur), and Felicia (James); great-grandson, Tyler and great-granddaughter, Mallory; special niece, Irma Ayers, and many other nieces and nephews.

She was an avid gardener, loved animals, played sports as a young woman, and was active in the Kerrs Creek Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

There will be no service. In lieu of flowers, Louise would appreciate you keeping Kerrs Creek Fire Department and local animal charities in your thoughts.
