Robert Curtis Zickafoose, 63, of Alderson, West Virginia passed away on February 8, 2018 at Cabell Huntington Hospital.

Born on June 27, 1954 at Hinton, he was the son of Julian Curtis and Goldie June Boone Zickafoose.

Robert is preceded in death by his father.

Robert was a U. S. Navy veteran, enjoyed bluegrass music, hunting, fishing and especially loved rock climbing with his grandson, Carter. He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his mother, Goldie; daughter, Heather Zickafoose and Darren Hunter of Rupert; two sons, Jeff and wife, Kara of St. Albans, Curt Zickafoose of Charleston; two sisters, Barbara Zickafoose of Rockville, MD, Rebecca Kovacic of Fisherville, VA; one brother, Julian Lake Zickafoose of Orient Hill; two grandchildren, Carter Hunter and Taylor Wade; former wife, Pam Zickafoose of Rupert.

Service will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday at Wallace & Wallace Chapel, Rainelle with Pastor Eugene Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville. Friends may gather with the family Monday evening from 6 - 8 p.m.
