M. Lucille Lotts, of Lexington, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Carilion Stonewall Jackson Hospital.
She was born in Collierstown to John A. Hostetter and Eliza Jane Hostetter.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred L. Lotts; her sisters, Ruth Hunter, Ruby Hartbarger and twin sister, Louise Huffman, who just passed five days before; her brother, Ira Hostetter; and her beloved grand-nephew, John Thomas Huffman.
She is survived by her nephews, Donald Huffman and wife, Kathy, Phil (Frank Jr.) and wife, Mary, Rusty (Rodney) and wife, Barbara Huffman, and Christopher Huffman; special nieces, Irma Ayers, Wanda Carper; many other grand-nieces and nephews; and special friend and neighbor, Mrs. Shotwell.
Lucille was retired from Burlington Industries, loved the ocean, horse races, a game of "sit back" with family, a good joke, and making apple butter with nephew Phil and family.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, February 16 at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
