Obituary for Elizabeth Ann Dillon Fitchett Elizabeth Ann Dillon Fitchett
Homemaker Was Covington Native

Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Dillon Fitchett, age 86, of Baltimore, Maryland and Roanoke, Virginia died Monday, March 5, 2018 at Richfield Recovery and Care, Salem.

She was the wife of the late Somerset Fitchett.

Mrs. Fitchett was born August 30, 1931 in Covington, the daughter of the late Michael Dillon and Gladys Baker Dillon.

She was a homemaker. Elizabeth was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Fitchett is survived by a granddaughter, Kelly Shannon Pierce and a great granddaughter, Aurora Somerset Pierce, both of Baltimore; a brother, James M. Dillon of Roanoke; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Fitchett was preceded in death by a son, Michael Fitchett; a daughter, Karen Macabe; two brothers, Marvin Dillon and Harold Dillon; and a sister, Mary Margaret Dillon.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 9, 2018 in Cedar Hill Cemetery with Rev. Jim Slate officiating.

Those wishing to attend the service should assemble at Loving Funeral Home by 1:00 p.m.

The family suggests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society, 9 East Church Avenue, Roanoke, VA 24011 or Carilion Clinic Hospice, 1615 Franklin Road, Roanoke, VA 24016.
