Wilford Charles Bartlett Jr. died Wednesday, March 14, 2018.

Born July 25, 1952 in Rockbridge County, he was a son of the late Wilford Charles Bartlett Sr. and Louise Peters Bartlett.

Charles worked as a custodian for Mountain View Elementary for 42 years as well as VMI for 15 years.

Surviving are his wife, Dinah Mays Bartlett; brother, Phillip Bartlett; and two sisters, Rose Slagle and Helen Bartlett.

A funeral will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, March 23, 2018 at Harrison Funeral Home with the Rev. Adam Watts and Rev. Stephanie Clark officiating.

The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 22, 2018.

Memorial contributions may be made in loving memory of Wilford to Mountain View Elementary School, 20 Burger Circle, Buena Vista, VA 24416.
