Juanita R. Long, 93, of White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia passed away on March 17, 2018 at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center.

Mrs. Long was born November 16, 1924 in Virginia, the daughter of the late Clyde and Ellen Hubbbard Steele.

Juanita was a retired housekeeper with The Greenbrier with 34 years of service.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. And not just any mother, she was my best friend.

To mourn her loss, she leaves behind her daughter, Shirley Long (Bo Ramsey), grandson, Chris Sharp (Mary Beth), granddaughter, Kimberly Layne (Patrick), all of Huntington; five great grandchildren, Shelby Earl, Cassidy Sharp, Breanna Layne, Anna Sharp and Caden Layne; one great great grandson, Brady Lee; brother-in-law, Elmer Long (Mary); sister-in-law, Mary Jane Ruhe (Hans), all of Florida; special member of the family, Brenda Morgan.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Long; daughter, Patricia Sharp; grandson, Brian Hardiman; sons-in-law, Charles Hardiman and Jackie Sharp; brother, Paul, Gene, Bob, Jess, Dewey, Cody and Clinton; sister Ilda; nephews, Harold Steele and Clinton Wright.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home with Pastor Greg Scott officiating. Burial will follow at Greenbrier Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
