James Robert Kersey, 75, of Lewisburg, West Virginia, formerly of White Sulphur Springs, passed away March 17, 2018 at the Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg.

James was born May 15, 1942 in White Sulphur Springs and was the son of the late Eugenia Virginia Kersey.

James was a wonderful, outgoing person who liked everyone and was liked by everyone who came in contact with him.

In his youth he showed cattle at the WV State Fair.

Surviving is his sister, Ruth Nester of Glace, WV and all his special acquaintances that he made in his lifetime.

Funeral services will be Thursday March 22, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs with Pastor Gary Baker officiating. Interment will follow at the Hillcrest Cemetery in White Sulphur Springs.

Friends may call Thursday March 22, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until funeral time at the funeral home.
