Lewisburg Resident Was Retired Appalachian Power Company Lineman

Robert Eugene Dyke, 74, of Lewisburg, West Virginia formerly of Ronceverte passed away Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center.

Bob was born August 20, 1943 in Lenwood, Kanawha County, West Virginia and was the son of the late William R. and Juanita Stanley Dyke.

He was a retired lineman with Appalachian Power Company, a member of the Episcopal Church of the Incarnation in Ronceverte.

He enjoyed his time living on the Greenbrier River and was an avid golfer.

Preceding him in death other than his parents was his wife, Dianna Kay Morgan Dyke, February 8, 2017.

Surviving are his sons; Mike Dyke and his wife, Kelly of Beckley and Ronnie Dyke of Ft. Myers, FL; step-son, Robert Londeree and his wife, Kelly of Lewisburg; step-daughter, Heather Napier and her husband, Randy of Ronceverte; step-daughter-in-law, Wanda Dyke of Huntington; grandchildren; Lauren Peters and husband, Austin of Dandridge, TN., Sarah Dyke of Charlotte, NC., Katelyn Manning and husband, Nick of Beckley, WV., Rosemary Napier of Ronceverte, Jade Napier of Ronceverte, Madison Mickey and husband, Marcus of Beckley, WV., Joseph Londeree of Lewisburg and Abigail Londeree of Lewisburg; great granddaughters, Milah Grace Mickey and Paislee Grace Manning.

A celebration of Bob's life will be held Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at the Episcopal Church of the Incarnation in Ronceverte with Rev. Elizabeth "Betsy" Walker officiating. The family will receive their friends on Saturday March 24, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until time of the services at the church.
