Forrest Clyde Williams III, age 69, of Scott Hill Assistant Living, Clifton Forge, Virginia went to be with our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Lewis Gale Hospital in Salem, Virginia.

He was born on December 12, 1948 in Covington, Virginia to the late Forrest Clyde Williams Jr and Doris Hipes Williams.

He had a passion for the Dallas Cowboys, hunting, fishing and NASCAR #48.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Curtis and Mike Williams; a sister, Diane Walkup; and a son, Ronnie Williams.

He is survived by two children, Melissa Stinson and Kevin Wayne Williams, both of Maryland; two grandsons, Matthew and Jimmy; siblings, David Williams of Maryland, Kevin Williams of Clifton Forge, Tony Williams of Glen Wilton, Robert Williams of Clifton Forge, Peggy Wolfe of Maryland, Faye Drayton of Maryland, Tena Cordts of West Virginia, Linda M. of Maryland; and a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

The family would like to offer special thanks to Edward and Lana Oyler, The Staff at Scott Hill and The Staff at the Valley Ridge Dialysis Center.

In keeping with his wishes his body was cremated.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge. A private inurnment will be held following the service.
