Ronald Wayne Miller of Buena Vista, Virginia, born July 19, 1948, died April 17, 2018 at UVA Medical Center.

He was born to the late Earl S. Miller and Hettie M. Bower of Greenville.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, Thomas E. Miller, and his wife, Dorothy.

He is survived by his wife, Linda F. Miller of Buena Vista; son, Scott Miller (Susan), Stuarts Draft; son, Kevin B. Miller (Heather), Waynesboro; daughter, Lisa Mays (Rex), Buena Vista; daughter, Sandra Taylor (Jr.), Buena Vista; three grandsons, Josh Mays (Nikki), Alex Mays, Buena Vista, Brayden Miller, Waynesboro; five granddaughters, Sarah, Allison Miller, Stuarts Draft, Ashley Taylor, Massachusetts, Cassie Taylor, Buena Vista, Haily Day, Waynesboro; two sisters, Joann Dixon, Ocala, Fla., and Kathy Miller (Van), Ocala, Fla.; three brothers, Charley Miller, Staunton, Roger Miller (Elizabeth), Greenville, Stanley Miller (Jill), Anthony, Fla.; two great grandsons, Alexander Mays and Keenan Clark, Buena Vista; brother-in-law, Roger McDaniel (Joann), Buena Vista; sister-in-law, Judy McDaniel and the late Earl F. McDaniel; three special friends, Ronnie Whitten, Herbert Higgins and Roger Roberts, and many other friends.

Per Ronald's wishes, he was cremated and a celebration of his life will be done at a later date with friends and family.
