Mr. John Paul Jones Jr., 63, died Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at his home in Cary, NC.

He was born April 30, 1954 in Covington, Virginia, a son of Dreama Forbes Jones and the late John Paul Jones Sr.

John Paul graduated from Alleghany High School and he proudly served in the United States Army, 82nd Airborne Division.

He retired from the U. S. Postal Service in May 2009 with 33 years of service.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sandra Tyree Jones; daughter, Dreama Jones Grantham; mother, Dreama Forbes Jones and sister, Daphne Jones Sears.

The funeral service will be held from the chapel of Loving Funeral Home on Saturday, April 28th at 4 p.m. with Rev. Doug Hollenbeck officiating.

Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
