Marshal Hunter Hartless, 42, of Raphine, Virginia died Monday, April 2, 2018 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Born August 9, 1975 in Lexington, he was a son of the late Lawrence E. Hartless and Judy Bryant Hartless.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Dakota Hartless.

Mr. Hartless was a tree trimmer for Pittman Company.

Surviving are his wife, Carissa Hartless and son, Marshal Hunter Hartless Jr., both of Raphine; brothers, Michael Hartless Sr., Malcolm Hartless and Philip Hartless, and sister, Donna Austin, all of Vesuvius.

There will be no visitation or service at the funeral home.

A celebration of Marshal's life will be held at a later date.
