Obituary for Elba Lee Coulter, Jr. Elba Lee Coulter, Jr.
Former Hercules Slitter Operator Was Also School Custodian

Elba Lee Coulter, Jr., 83, of Ronceverte, West Virginia passed away Monday, April 30, 2018 at the Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg.

Born March 15, 1935 at Romney, WV, he was a son of the late Elba Lee Coulter, Sr. and the late Rhoda L. King Coulter.

He was a retired slitter operator with Hercules in Covington and was custodian at Lewisburg Elementary school. He formerly worked for WVDOH; was a former EMT and grant writer for Williamsburg Rescue Squad; was a former council member with the City of Ronceverte; loved woodworking and was a "jack of all trades". In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Sarah Dawson; brother, Alfred Coulter; a grandson, Travis Cox and a great granddaughter, Shaelyn Morris.

He is survived by his wife, Dremma Jean LeMasters Coulter; a sister, Virginia Chornsby; his children, Russell Lee Coulter (Joan), Pamala Louise Hunter (Mike), Barbara Ann Morgan (Mitchell), Richard Wayne Coulter (Cheryl), Mary Frances Thomas and Susan Renee McCormack (Aaron); 13 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Ronceverte, with Rev. Robert Hefner, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Greenbrier Memorial Gardens in Lewisburg.

Friends may call from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 4, 2018 at the funeral home in Ronceverte.
