Bonnie Boggs Massie, 86, of Ronceverte, WV, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Peyton Hospice House in Fairlea, WV.

Bonnie was born on April 27, 1932, in Union, West Virginia to the late Lawrence Sr. and Ina Dunbar.

She was a faithful member of Ronceverte Christian Church and worked as a nurse's aide for many years until she retired. Her biggest job here on earth was taking care of others.

Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Forrest E. Massie; second husband, Dwight Boggs; sister, Louise; brothers, Russel, Eddie, Lawrence Jr., and Rasco.

Surviving are her daughters, Tammy Pyne (Tim), and Patty Dolan (Keith); son, Ricky Massie, Sr. (Paula); step-daughter, Joyce Spence; brothers, Delbert Dunbar (Marjorie), Kenneth Dunbar; grandchildren, Brye Pyne, Carlissa Massie, Caroline Massie, Ricky Massie Jr., Timmy Brannon (Daniel), Amber Brannon, and Kelsey Brannon; 7 great-grandchildren, 1 great great-grandchild; a special friend, Marlin Linton; Several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Riverview Cemetery in Ronceverte, WV with speaker Roy Massie Jr. officiating.

A visitation will be held on Monday afternoon, May 7, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Ronceverte, WV. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations of sympathy be made to Peyton Hospice House, 1265 Maplewood Ave, Lewisburg, WV 24901 or Ronceverte Christian Church, 240 Gypsy Heights Road, Ronceverte, WV 24970.
