Kenneth Wayne Gibson, 72, of Natural Bridge, Virginia died Tuesday, May 1, 2018.

He was born in Rockbridge County on June 6, 1945, a son of the late Arthur Emory Gibson and Alice Clark Gibson.

He is survived by his wife, Blanche Leona Gibson; his children, Sharon Chittum, Karen Gibson, Kenneth Gibson, Steven Gibson, Terry Gibson, Barry Gibson and Debra Robinson; eighteen grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be held 3 p.m., Tuesday, May 8, at Church of God of Prophecy, Glasgow, with the Rev. Lewis McDaniel officiating. A burial will follow in Natural Bridge Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.

Arrangements are by Burch-Messier Funeral Home in Bedford.
