Hector Roscoe Hostetter, 78, of Lexington, Virginia died Friday, May 18, 2018 at his residence.

Born March 19, 1940 in Rockbridge County, he was a son of Albert Benjamin Hostetter and Hanie Montgomery Hostetter.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Clark Hostetter.

Mr. Hostetter was a truck driver for B&D Trucking and loved to camp in his spare time.

Surviving are his children, Ellen L. Hostetter, Lisa Y. Carter and Hunter R. Hostetter; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Faith Petty and Rena Lawson.

A funeral will be conducted 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Harrison Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Scott Reese officiating. Burial will follow at Kerrs Creek Baptist Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 21, 2018 at Harrison Funeral Home.
