Marjorie Davis Painter, 93, of Midlothian, Virginia, formerly of Buena Vista, passed away Friday, May 18, 2018.

Born October 14, 1924 in Buena Vista, she was the daughter of the late Albert Davis and Louella Spitzer Davis.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dalton Lee Painter.

Surviving are her children, Diane Painter Dunlap and husband, Bill, Oak Island, N.C., and Barry Lee Painter and wife, Patricia, Midlothian; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and brother, Leroy Davis, Spokane, Washington.

A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Kris Peaden officiating.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Buena Vista, VA.
