Michael Emory Ayers, 66, of Natural Bridge Station, Virginia died Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at his residence.

Born August 7, 1951 in Roanoke, he was a son of the late Willie Emory Ayers and Glenna June Quisenberry Ayers.

Surviving is his wife, Pamela Pugh Ayers; daughters, Samantha L Ayers of Kill Devil Hills, N.C., and Amanda D. Shepherd of Christiansburg; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Phillip Ayers of Roanoke; and sister, Shirley Booze of Fincastle.

There will be no services at this time.
