Caldwell Resident Was Church Of God Member

Laura Lavada Spencer, 90, of Caldwell, West Virginia went to meet her Lord and Savior on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at her residence in Caldwell, surrounded by her loved ones.

Laura was born on December 8, 1927, in Quinwood, West Virginia to the late John Adams and Nettie Foley.

She was a faithful member of the Church of God and spent her free time crocheting for her family and friends.

Other than her parents, she is preceded by her son, Stanley "Bean" Spencer who passed away in 2013; four sisters; as well as two brothers.

Survivors include daughters, Laura "Penny" Neely and husband, Ron of High Point, NC, Donna Adwell of Caldwell, with whom she resided, Terry Wykle and husband, Joe of Caldwell, Gail Goodale and husband, Greg of White Sulphur Springs, and Dawn Spencer of Cincinnati, OH; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

As per her wishes she has donated her body to the Human Gift Registry at the Osteopathic School of Medicine in Lewisburg.
