Rosemary Simpson Curry, 78, of 2505 Midland Trail, Covington, Virginia died Thursday, June 14, 2018 at her residence.

She was born May 12, 1940 in Alleghany County, a daughter of the late Lee Edward Simpson, Sr. and Maggie Hepler Simpson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ira C. Curry in 2009 and also by two brothers, Jack L. Simpson, Jr. and John Simpson.

Mrs. Curry retired as an Administer from the former Alleghany Regional Hospital after a number of years. Following her retirement she was employed by Advance Auto.

Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and J. B. Broughman of Eagle Rock; three sons, Mitchel Curry and Janet Walton of Covington; Kenny and Andrea Curry of Eagle Rock and James Curry of Youngstown, FL; 11 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one brother, Morgan D. Simpson of Roanoke and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Monday, June 18, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. from the graveside in Alleghany Memorial Park with the Rev. J. B. Broughman officiating.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Monday at Arritt Funeral Home.
