Lucille Carter Floyd, 93, of Lexington, Virginia passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at The Mayflower.

Born in Bedford, she was the daughter of the late Earl Carter and Nora Dooley Carter.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Albert Floyd; and brothers, William and Leonard Carter.

Surviving are her children, Roy Floyd, Bob Floyd (Sandra), Linda Johnson (Gary), Ann Stearns (John), and Wesley Floyd (Susan); four grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Paul Carter officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
