Obituary for Randy Lee Carroll Randy Lee Carroll
Former Hercules Employee Was Army Reservist, Advent Christian Church Member

Randy Lee Carroll, age 73, of 224 Higgins Hollow Road, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Thursday, June 28, 2018 at his residence.

He was born January 10, 1945 in Clifton Forge, Virginia to the late Howard Luptkin and Jessie Pearl Nicely Carroll.

He was in the United States Army Reserve and was a laborer for Hercules, Inc.

He was a member of Central Advent Christian Church and Oak Grove Advent Christian Church.

Randy enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, carpentry and spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Forren Carroll and a brother-in-law, Jimmy Black.

He is survived by two daughters, Susie Holbert and Melissa Morgan Christian, both of Clifton Forge; two sons, Travis Carroll of Harrisonburg and Robbie Morgan and wife, Danielle of Clifton Forge; a sister, Barbara Jean Black of Clifton Forge; two brothers, David Carroll and wife, Nancy of Millboro, and Kenny Carroll and wife, Alice of Clifton Forge; four grandchildren, Billy Holbert, Miles Christian II, Rachel Morgan, and Rebekah Morgan; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Nicely Funeral Home with Reverend Grover Nicely and Pastor Pam Irvine officiating. Interment will follow in Horeb Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Zane Lester, Conner Simpson, Josh Caldwell, Jack Higgins, Travis Carroll and Robbie Morgan.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at Nicely Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the home of Susie Holbert, 231 Higgins Hollow Road, Clifton Forge, Virginia 24422 and Robbie and Danielle Morgan, 1314 Forester Road, Clifton Forge, Virginia 24422.

The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to Mountain Regional Hospice Volunteers, P. O. Box 637, Clifton Forge, VA 24422 and The American Cancer Society, 1700 MacCorkle Ave SE, Charleston, West Virginia 25314.
