Elaine Glover Shanks, 54, of Natural Bridge Station, Virginia passed away Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
She was born February 13, 1964, the daughter of Adam Charles Glover and Shirley Martin Glover.
Elaine was a teacher for 25 years at Loudoun Valley High School and Rockbridge County High School.
Surviving are her husband, Gregory Michael Shanks; son, Michael Shanks; granddaughter, Emma; and sister, Susan Glover.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, 2018 at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel.
Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
