Shirley Raydot Swink, 78, of Buena Vista, Virginia passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018 at her residence.

Born October 2, 1939 in Rockbridge County, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Humphries and Ruby Humphries.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry Lewis Swink Sr., and brother, Wayne Jackson Humphries.

Surviving are her children, Henry Lewis Swink Jr., John Raymond Swink (Jodie), Dianna Swink Coffey (Keith), and Kelly William Swink; seven grandchildren, Jean Ramsey (Nick), John Swink (Bonnie), Shirley Switzer (Ben), Daniel Coffey, Samuel Coffey, Bryan Garrett, Ryan Wilhelm; five great-grandchildren, Kara Ramsey, Emma Ramsey, James Switzer, Caleb Switzer and Oliver Switzer; several special nephews, nieces, and cousins; and brother, Lerty Humphries.

A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, July 2, 2018 at Timber Ridge A. R. Presbyterian Cemetery with Pastor Fred Sloan and Pastor Pete Smith officiating.

Family will receive friends 4 to 6 p.m., Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Bolling, Grose and Lotts Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rockbridge Area Hospice, 315 Myers St., Lexington, VA 24450.
