Obituary for Barbara Proctor Gibson Keller Barbara Proctor Gibson Keller
First National Bank Trust Officer Was St. Andrew's Episcopal Church Member

Barbara Proctor Gibson Keller, age 89, of 1409 Hamilton Avenue, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 105 Dickson Place, Clifton Forge.

She was born December 15, 1928 in Maysville, Kentucky to the late Walter Abram and Mildred Proctor Gibson.

She was a trust officer for the former First National Bank of Clifton Forge.

She was a member, and former treasurer and vestry member of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Clifton Forge. She was also a member of the Clifton Forge Women’s Club, a former member of the Council for Human Relations, a University of Virginia fan, and loved playing bridge.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her son, Thomas David "Tommy" Keller in 2002 and her special in-laws, Ross and Lyde Keller.

She is survived by a daughter, Deborah K. Blackburn and husband, Tim of Clifton Forge; a daughter-in-law, Maria M. Keller of Baltimore; five grandchildren, Timothy David Blackburn and wife, Beth, Thomas Andrew Blackburn and wife, Dawn, Jonathan Michael Blackburn, Ross Abram Keller, and Keller Kerr Blackburn; five great grandchildren, Katie, Emma, Thomas, Isaac, and Jenny; and a great great grandson, Asher.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 9, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Clifton Forge.

Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Clifton Forge. Pallbearers will be Tad Blackburn, Andy Blackburn, Jonathan Blackburn, Tim Blackburn, Thomas Blackburn, and Ross Keller. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge. The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 516 McCormick Boulevard, Clifton Forge, VA 24422.
