Rufus Hull Bennington, 79, of Rockbridge Baths, Virginia died Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Heritage Hall.

Born in Rockbridge County, he was a son of the late Lafayette Bennington and Virginia Hostetter Bennington.

Surviving are his wife, Virginia Hostetter Bennington; children, Randall Wentworth, Wayne Wentworth and Katie Wentworth; stepchildren, Thomas Hostetter, Carolyn Lilly and Gary Hostetter; brother, Charles Bennington; and seven grandchildren.

There will be no funeral service at this time.
