Roger Pryor Blake, Sr., 78, of Ronceverte, WV, passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at his residence.

Roger was born on July 13th, 1939 in Renick, West Virginia to the late Layton Shannon and Clara Roberts Blake.

Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Mary R. (Flack) Blake; a son, Roger P. Blake, Jr., and a brother, Merle Blake.

Survivors include his daughters, Valerie Hinkle (Tony) of Alta, WV, Kimberly Honaker (Mark) of Ronceverte; son, Robin Blake (fiance, Jeanne) of Ronceverte; sister, Lela Ingram (Asil) of White Sulphur Springs; brother, Denver Blake (Patty) of Lewisburg; grandchildren, Brittney Hagy, Brooke Hinkle, Alexis Blake, Billy Honaker, and Aron Blake; special friends at Gary Weikle Auto Clinic in Ronceverte.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Ronceverte. Burial will follow at Rosewood Cemetery in Lewisburg.

Visitation for the public will be held on Sunday, July 15, 2018 from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m.
