Henry (Hank) Graham Snider, Col., Ret., USAF, 89, of Lexington, Virginia passed away Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Havenwood Manor.

He was born December 13, 1928 in Lexington, the son of Clarence Snider and Lucy Fixx Snider.

Mr. Snider was a graduate from Lexington High School and Virginia Polytechnic Institute and served 27 years in the United States Air Force with postings in Japan, Alaska, Hawaii, Korea and Washington D.C.

Preceding him in death were his wife Vivian "Monkey" Hope Snider of Wytheville and by his son, Julian H. Snider of Goshen.

Surviving are his son, James Howard Snider of Louisa, Carla Snider Fore of Florida and Karen Snider Lyle of Lexington; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was an active long standing member of Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church.
